Management insights from the best musicians: Charlie Parker, the inventor

Many Pmight consider music to be as far removed from business as possible, and yet, upon closer inspection, there may be more points of contact than one would think. This new series by TEHA, tries to reveal them by looking at the works of the greatest composers, not only as artists, but as examples of successful formae mentis, capable of creating "products" that can survive the centuries. Each episode will address one of these mindsets, trying to highlight its merits and flaws, which are also useful for business leaders today.

I always like to have new ideas by having them all derive from the same root. The vision of Brahms, the transformational innovator.

In this third event, Maestro Giorgio Fabbri, conductor and trainer, will tell us how Brahms was able to continually transform himself while maintaining his own identity. Brahms' mindset means being constantly evolving while seeking a synthesis on what has been done in the past.  This is an excellent example for all business leaders who see the need for an evolutionary leap, a transformation of planning and advancement of ideas that occurs consistently with the current situation.

In particular, it will touch on:

  • Brahms, the transformational innovator "manager"
  • the universal principle: synthesis and variation
  • knowing how to evolve in continuity with the present.
