Raising your expectations and turning an idea into a revolution: a conversation with Alberto Dalmasso

Primo Piazza Fidia 1 - 20159 MILANO

“The real revolution begins when you stop thinking like everyone else and start believing in what you can do.”

In this session, participants will have the opportunity to engage with Alberto Dalmasso, CEO and Co-Founder of Satispay, the Italian fintech company that revolutionized digital payments. Satispay, having surpassed the billion-dollar valuation mark, has become a unicorn and closed one of the highest investment rounds ever achieved by a startup in Italy.

At the heart of what is now a company with 300 employees, 3 million users, and offices in Germany, Luxembourg, and France, are three young founders with a clear idea and an unwavering goal. Alberto Dalmasso seized the right moment, taking risks even when the questions outnumbered the answers, completely overturning the rules and firmly believing in his project, persevering until he finally succeeded. Because growth is both struggle and, at the same time, great satisfaction.

By reflecting on his journey, participants will gain insight into:

  • How a winning idea is born and developed, despite challenges, through perseverance, focus, and the ability to adapt to changes;
  • The importance of constantly raising the bar of one’s expectations, challenging personal limits, and always striving for improvement without settling;
  • The challenges of internal growth, managing a startup culture as the company scales and establishes itself in the international market.
